What we collect
- Account details — your email address and, if you sign in with Apple, Google or Facebook, the name and email those providers share with us.
- Profile — your username, display name, photo, bio, region and the streaming services you tell us you use.
- Watch data — titles you add, ratings, notes, episode progress, spaces, messages and comments you create.
How we use it
- To run the product: lists, spaces, chat, recommendations.
- To send notification emails you can switch off any time in your profile settings (friend requests, messages, titles added to your spaces, invites you asked us to send).
- We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party ads.
Who else is involved
- Supabase hosts our database and authentication (region: Sydney, Australia).
- Vercel hosts the web application.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Title metadata comes from TMDB; streaming availability data via JustWatch. Neither receives your personal data from us.
Your controls
- Edit or delete your content at any time in the app.
- Turn off email notifications in Profile settings.
- To delete your account and all associated data, go to Profile → Delete account in the app or on the web — deletion is immediate and permanent. You can also contact privacy@wewatching.tv and we will complete it within 30 days.
